Yes. Flowturn is the Official Distributor of Princetel Fiber Optic Rotary Joints (FORJ) in India, providing genuine products with local engineering support and technical consultation.
A Fiber Optic Rotary Joint (FORJ) enables uninterrupted transmission of optical signals across continuously rotating interfaces while maintaining low signal loss and reliable performance.
A FORJ is recommended for high-speed optical communication, while an Electrical Slip Ring is used for transmitting electrical power and signals. Applications requiring both are typically served by a Hybrid Slip Ring + FORJ.
Yes. We offer standard and customized FORJs based on optical channels, fiber type, mounting configuration, environmental conditions and application requirements.
An Electrical Slip Ring transfers electrical power, control signals and data between stationary and rotating systems while allowing continuous 360° rotation.
Depending on the application, slip rings can transmit power, analog and digital signals, Ethernet, CAN Bus, encoder signals, USB, RS485 and other communication interfaces.
A Pneumatic Slip Ring enables continuous transfer of compressed air, vacuum or gases through rotating equipment. Hybrid models can simultaneously transmit pneumatic media, electrical power and signals.
Yes. Flowturn designs hybrid rotary assemblies combining pneumatic passages, electrical circuits and Fiber Optic Rotary Joints into a single compact solution.
A Rotary Union transfers fluids or gases between stationary piping and rotating machinery while maintaining a sealed flow path.
Depending on the application, Rotary Unions can be designed for water, steam, thermal oil, compressed air, hydraulic oil, vacuum and other compatible process media.
RF and Waveguide Rotary Joints enable continuous transmission of microwave and radio frequency signals in rotating radar, antenna and communication systems.
Yes. Every solution can be customized based on operating conditions, mounting, electrical circuits, optical channels, pneumatic passages, pressure, speed and environmental requirements.
To recommend the most suitable solution, we typically require: Application, Operating Speed (RPM), Media Type (if applicable), Power & Signal Requirements, Optical Channels (if required), Pressure & Temperature, Mounting Details, and Environmental Conditions.
Yes. We work with OEMs, system integrators and machine builders from concept development and prototyping through production and technical support.
Our engineering team evaluates your application requirements and recommends the most suitable solution—whether it's a FORJ, Slip Ring, Pneumatic Slip Ring, Rotary Union or a customized hybrid assembly.
Lead time depends on the product configuration, customization level and order quantity. Standard products are generally available with shorter delivery times, while customized solutions may require additional engineering and manufacturing time. Our team will provide an estimated delivery schedule after reviewing your application.
Yes. We regularly assist customers in identifying suitable replacement solutions for existing rotary interfaces. Simply share the part number, technical specifications or drawings, and our engineering team will evaluate the most appropriate replacement or equivalent solution.
Absolutely. Our application engineers work closely with customers to understand their operating conditions, performance requirements and installation constraints before recommending the most suitable solution. We believe every application deserves an engineering-led approach rather than a one-size-fits-all recommendation.
Yes. Many customers approach us during the early design stage without complete specifications. Based on your application, industry, operating conditions and performance objectives, our engineering team can help determine the most suitable rotary interface solution.
Yes. Flowturn provides technical assistance before, during and after installation. Our team can support product selection, installation guidance, troubleshooting and application-related queries to help ensure reliable long-term performance.
You can request a quotation by contacting our sales team through our website, email or phone. To help us recommend the most appropriate solution, please include details such as your application, operating speed (RPM), media type (if applicable), electrical or optical requirements, environmental conditions and any available drawings or specifications.
Every application is unique, and selecting the right rotary interface often requires an understanding of the operating environment and performance requirements.
